Lessons and Training

At Miles Ahead Farm, Kerry Blackmer runs an active lesson program. Kerry has over 15 years of experience teaching beginners and advanced riders. Small group lessons (maximum of five students) as well as private lessons are available. We cater to students of all ages and abilities. Whether you want to ride once week just for fun or become a serious competitor, Miles Ahead Farm will suit your needs. During the show season our students can be seen competing nearly every weekend. From elementary to intermediate, MAF is always represented.

Kerry is currently working with the Instructors Certification Program (ICP). During the summer of 2005 she took part in the ICP Workshops and plans to test for the certification in the coming year. The ICP is an intense certification program geared towards instructors of event riders.

Rates
Group Lesson (3 - 5 students) - $35/hour
Semi-private Lesson - $45/hour
Private Lesson - $40/half hour
